Oude Geuze Boon (2016-2017) R.

A little claggy and sour. Almost like a cider, but the initial flavour is far lighter and zesty. There's a whole lot more to it than any cider.

HORAL's Oude Geuze Mega Blend (2021) R.

Beer with friends. All those sharing bottles bought through lockdown were worth it. A rich, fruity gueze.

Frond R.

Pretty much ronseal beer. Not too sour, not too much coconut, happily. Went down very well.

Velvet Rush (2021) R.

Not quite velvety, the booze burns a little. The choc and coffee flavours are heavy, so the bourbon is a little lost/hidden. Does it tie the room together? Maybe. Beer hawk advent calendar, one of the best so far.

Between the Lines R.

Beer hawk advent calendar day 4, I think. Very big mouthfeel for a thin looking beer.

A very soft and gentle NEIPA.

Peter, Pale and Mary Gluten Free R.

Very enjoyable, piney, quite malty and bitter.

Very balanced. Appely, tart and with red wine/barrel flavours. Lovely.
