This one has some depth, if not a lot of complexity. A very good sipping beer.

Different and enjoyable. Definitely a brown ale but the oak and bourbon add an extra kick. Bit of an earthiness to this. Chocolate, coffee and vanilla too. I could get used to this.

Really nice coconut stout. Thick, rich, roasty. A hint of chocolate. The coffee could be more prominent to balance the coconut (or the coconut a bit less?) but this is a small criticism.

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa (2022) M
Better than the original as some ot the harshness of the booze and barrel is muted and balanced.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2022) M
Bourbon is prominent. Coffee and cocoa. Strong. Roasty. Very solid yet missing a certain je ne sais quoi to provide proper balance to the bourbon.

Geuze Mariage Parfait (2017) M
Best Before 03/11/2040. Wow. I cracked this a wee early apparently. A nice, sour Lambic. The oakey background contrasts nicely with the sharp acidity. Nothing spectacular overall, but still refreshing and enjoyable.

It's got everything it says it has - espresso, chocolate, bourbon. It's deep and toasty but I feel that it's missing something to link everything. Maybe a bit of (milk?) sugar or something. Don't get me wrong - it's good, just not balanced perfectly.

A light, drinkable but forgettable IPA. It needs more substance to be anything more.

Light raspberry, but quite tart and sour. Simple, clean and it works very well.

Kentucky Bourbon Stout (KBS) (2021) M
Deep and full of chocolate. Coffee is more subtle but still clearly present. A bit of bourbon, oak and pine even. Fairly hoppy for a stout. A bit less sweet and it would be almost perfect (for me) but it's still thoroughly enjoyable.

Game of Thrones - Iron Anniversary IPA M
Round 2 of this West Coast IPA disguised as NEIPA. Still has the dankness, pine and hops but seems a bit more subdued this round. Still decent nonetheless.
