Nice and v intense, but booze & coffee & sugar mask complexity. Semi-decent cocktail at best.

Highball Drifter (2022) Wardale

Vintage unknown. Big, but mellow, with sufficient, not heavy BBA. Under attenuated, tho still tasty. Cherry & orange are background, tho lingering finish attest to adjuncts. @J-Spitzer. Enjoyable, but nit spectacular.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2017) Wardale

Way smoother than 2021! Coffee has mellowed. More subtle& integated. Chocolate fwd. bourbon nose opens late, recedes, then finishes strong. Ale character survives. Great age point!!! $1.5/oz might bed a bit high but a great splurge!

Underground Mountain Brown (2019) Wardale

Found a single bottle at a cheese shop. Aging phenomenally! Chocolate, caramel luscious BA notes (vanilla; (coffee)). Great finish, but everything is mellow & delicious. BA is central. Hides 12% quite well.
