The tonic water tones down the intensity to a pleasantly drinkable level and the floral botanicals compliment the black current perfectly. Turns a solid but intense sour melomel into a fresh fruity summer drink.

Mmmm, super smokey. Loads of bacon on the nose, barbeque taste with a bitter smokey finish. Really nice if you're expecting it :)

Smells crisp and super hoppy. Slightly bitter and easy to drink but nothing exciting. Rather average hop profile with nothing distinct, but by no means bad. Smells better than it tastes.

Grapefruit dominates and the chili is almost non-existent, but still nice.

Nice Orange braggot, not too meady. The coffee is a bit bleargh at first but helps prevent it from being overly sweet. It's an interesting flavour mix which grew on me as I got used to it.

Quite boozey and sweet, would be nice in a Belgian ale, not so desirable in a tipa. Nice lingering bitter finish though.

Nice and bitter, pithy grapefruit dominates. Nice but could be interesting with more malt.

Sweet but not overly so, slightly tart. Nice blend of fruit, honey and mango stand out but none dominate.

Sour and bitter, but very flat mouthfeel. Nice tropical flavours but could use a little more fizz.

Yeast and fresh herbs on the nose. Honey forward mellows to a pleasant lime tartness. Sweet basil finish has a little spice to it. Sweeter than I'd normally like, but it somehow works for me. Kind of like a radler but much more complex.

Strong black currant and honey going to a pleasant dry tartness. Really nice in a small dose but the flavours are a bit strong for the can size.
