Great KBS variant. The maple doesn't overpower, and it's a great compliment to the rich fudgey, chocolatey flavor. Great to Very great? Ha!

Less impact than I remember it having last year. I'd been on a bit of a KBS fix, and at that point, the espresso was a bit of a mind benda - however, this time - the coffee seems a bit aggressive, and steals the show, to it's detriment.

Glad I forced my local beer shop to break a 6 pack - it is what you know dogfish head to be - and what you hoped it was, it wasn't. It's fine, but I wish it had the panache and complexity that these fruits deserved.
