Kriek Boon

Light to medium sweetness then the cherry really shines through. Only the mildest of sourness to this. Very easy to drink and quite refreshing when served very cold, the longer you leave it the more sweetness and cherry show. Love a lambic!

Oude Geuze Boon

My first beer of this style, definitely intriguing. A bit going on. The aroma on pouring was of string vinegar but it doesnt rwally carry to the flavour so much. Citrus / grapefruit and quite dry. If i didnt know better id say skin contact with grapes

Geuze Mariage Parfait (2018)

Dry and spritzy lemon sherbert up front with a real citrus twang through the middle. Lemon peel and sourness to finish the journey. We under appreciate Lambic beers in Australia so I was very happy to have these come into the shop. Complex and delicious

Grolsch Premium Lager

Just because a beer has been around forever doesn’t mean it’s good. New world pilsners shit on this! In fact most do. Really an average beer!

1 Ton Of... Cherry

More than a Tonne?!?!A cherry explosion that carries no sweetness whatsoever. Lots of acid cutting through the fruit giving it a very tart and dry finish, almost tannic. It’s pairing quite well with my smoke laden dinner. This will be a bit much for some

Hop Opera

Wow! What an awesome beer! Dank but manages to regain a great level of hop sweetness as well. Great magic trick. Lots of citrus, Orange mostly for me. Hides quite a decent ABV with consummate ease. My 2nd Mikkeller beer and what a high bar they’ve set!

Chugwork Orange

This floats my boat in a massive way! Big OJ feel to this but the vanilla has tamed it beautifully. Lactose gives it the smoothest of mouth feels and it’s sliding down like velvet. Not a hint of ABV and could literally be just delicious juice.
