Used coffee grounds, dark chocolate, slightly acrid. Opaque black with tan head. Very rich dark chocolatey taste; smooth, with some burnt/roasted Weetabix behind but surprisingly little alcohol sweetness or warmth (builds over time).

Strong pine & rich caramel aroma. Good body, with moderately high bitterness and lots more pine; some candied orange peel and sweet caramalt which grows in the finish. Fairly intense flavours all nicely balanced.

Deep reddish brown. Initially a little sulphurous but quickly volatises to leave a sweet bread crust aroma. Grassy herbal hop is quite strong over toasty brown malt character. Relatively bitter for a malt forward beer, a touch of dry roastiness.

American Dream Extra Dry-Hopped
Surprisingly dark colour, subtle citrus aromas. A lot of tangerine initially, some grapefruit & malt, sweet but moving towards moderate bitter in the finish. A little thin but not overly so for lager, crisp but the bitterness in the tail is a touch harsh.

Bright lemony citrus aroma. Juicy tangerine flavour, lingering dry bitterness with hints of marmalade & pine. High carbonation, good balance of body & easy drinking.

Bottled May 2019. Strong acidic aroma, Brett, leather, acetic. Taste is initially less sour than aroma suggests, tart dark cherry, dry, some phenolic notes. Mouthwatering dry finish, a little bitter.

Light fruity aroma, a little citrus but hard to distinguish. Soft, smooth mouth feel; citrus, mango, a bit of time & alcohol is subtle but evident.

Comparison to Czech: Aroma is definitely more pronounced, hard to describe besides more sulphate-y. There is a difference in flavour too, I'd say this is more bitter & less smooth but that might be because I know it's supposed to be...
