A bit astonished by the low marks here. I liked it! Milk chocolate, bourbon barrel, lots of nuts... I love it!

Very good, but a bit modest for a TIPA. Enough bitterness, some discreet mango. Not too sweet for a TIPA, which I like, but could use a more pronounced fruity punch. Good nevertheless

Best geuze from Boon yet? Very dry, clean, green apple, and delicate touches of vanilla and wood of the new barrel involved. A true celebration of the retirement of Frank Boon.

Oude Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne - VAT 31 Mono Blend D.
For me, my favorite of all the VAT-editions from Boon. Incredible depth and complexity.

Grand Cru Bruocsella Lambic Bio D.
Completly flat almost. Very winey, with some woody notes. Complex. Not everyone will like it, but I do. For real fans only.

Cuvée Saint-Gilloise (Champions) D.
My personal favorite at this point. Crispy, smooth, green apple, discrete touch of wood and a nice hint of the added dryhopping. So good .

Beautiful funky nose, with already a hint of rhubarb. Lovely lambic, with a hint of rhubarb. Balanced and subtle. A masterclass.

Oude Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne - VAT 109 Mono Blend D.
Dark straw color. Little hint of vanilla on the nose. Lively acidity, bonedry, but very mouthfilling. An intellectual geuze.

2017 vintage. Everything you could wish for in a classic geuze. Bonedry and mouthfilling. A legend.

Kriek doesn't get much better than this. A classic, traditional Kriek, from harvest 2019. Beautiful red cherry color, typical Kriek nose. Tastewise a lot of fruit, of course a lot of acidity, but very harmonious because of the depth of high quality lambic
