Very tasty, pretty tart, a bit oily. Has carb but it quickly dissipates. Definitely tastes like aged Cantillon fruited lambic! Didn’t realize 2016 was 8 years old already. Old balls 👴🏻 ⚽️ 🏀

I have more Lambic than I could drink in a lifetime, even if I never buy another bottle, gotta start drinking it!!! This one hits nicely today, my Zwanze Day treat a day late.

Loads of funk in this one, kind of in between stage of the fruit fading off and the sour/acidic aspect taking over. Very tasty

Cuvée Saint-Gilloise (Champions) (2023) F
Been a while since I’ve had a CdC, always loved this beer and this one did not disappoint

Lambic Day at Afterthought! This vintage Fou Foune is right at the cusp of turning super sour, but still drinking in its prime now, tons of fresh stone fruit, but you definitely get that puckering tartness starting to take over. Delicious!

What a find in a back alley Polish craft beer bar! Haven’t even been able to land this at home! Can’t deny the view either! Delicious, great body for a lambic, super fruit forward with a perfect balance of tart and funk. Need a few of these for my cellar!

Drinking great right now. Lots of dry funky oak with loads of tart green apples. Definitely starting to become more acidic with the age, but not yet auto heartburn inducing 😂

Not bad, expected a bit more, a little lighter in the flavor department, good funk tho

Enjoying this old ass lambic that was bottled 8/25/08! Bottled on my bday! Ass puckering sour as expected, but a surprising amount of fruit still left. Delicious! Playing with my badass new computer that Monika got me! Above & Beyond streaming of course!

Fruitiest Fou Foune I’ve ever had. Bushels of apricot, sweet and slightly tart. Just a touch of Cantillon funk lingering in the background. This one is all about the fruit! Love “fresh” Fou Foune!!

Special beer for Emerson’s 5th! Truly unique Cantillon and one of the best I’ve had from them! Super delicate but full of flavor, sweeter than anything I’ve had from them, soft, almost chewy fruit, tons of funk and oak in the finish. Delicious!

Fruit is fading a bit allowing the Cantillon funk to really come forward, definitely more tart than a fresh version but not yet enamel stripping like a 5+ year old Fou Foune

Wow! Day late for Zwanze Day but a perfect lambic to celebrate with! Huge tart raspberries with a nice smoothness imparted by the vanilla. So much fruit, so much flavor, one of, if not the best Cantillon I’ve had! 🐻⬇️

Best bottle of Fou I’ve ever had, hands down! Like a eating a whole bushel of the most delicious apricots all at once! Doming a whole bottle of Cantillon before 10am, I love holiday weekends!

Was a little worried about this one, top of cork was covered in swamp water, but damn did it pop with a bang! Huge amounts of carbonation after 12 years, suuuper funky nose, big fruit presence still. This one is truly unique and special right now!

Big barnyard nose, grape skin and oak flavor. Very tasty! Happy NYE!

So tasty. But I’m too full and sick from all the ham and potatoes.

Freshest I’ve ever tried this beer (10 months), I think I prefer it with a few years on it, still delicious tho!

Cuvée Saint-Gilloise (Champions) (2014) F
2014 cork, Jan 2015 label. Darker pour with huge dense fluffy head. Tons of funk, good hop presence in taste gives this a unique character. Always enjoyed CSG, this bottle is no exception.
