(from earlier) Not sure when I had this, but it was the end of the night. We had a fantastic meal, plenty of wine, and maybe a few more cocktails. Then a swim. And somewhen after all that, we hung out by the fire table and I had one more beer.

Here for the Celebration of Gordon Lightfoot concert. One hell of a lineup of artists for tonight, and this is always such a fantastic venue for live music.

The second act was even more star-studded than the first. Blue Rodeo as the house band, with performances by William Prince, Burton Cummings, Kathleen Edwards, Julian Taylor, Alison Russell, & the Good Brothers. Oh, and Alex Lifeson & Geddy Lee. So good!

A special treat to welcome my wife's cousins from Netherlands. They live quite close to where Grolsch is made, but don't have the old-fashioned flip top bottles anymore. An easy and dependable European classic made more fun with family.

Hard to believe I've never had this. Pretty sure I've had some Dogfish beers back when I lived in Jersey, but way before Untappd. A pale copper colour and dank aroma. Malt forward, with soft tropical notes and pine. Low lingering bitterness. Delicious!

Home now and sticking with something easy. I grabbed this at the LC last time I was there. Nothing fancy, but an accessible and entirely drinkable IPA.
