Belgian Twist K.

A solid Belgian, with a solid twist. Founders can do no wrong. Malty with a slight sweetness.

Velvet Rush K.

Another solid Founders. Coffee flavor with a nice, chocolate finish. Very smooth.

Nemesis (2021) K.

Malty and full of flavor. For a barley wine ale I was pleasantly surprised. A nice change from the sweet beers.

Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter K.

Still haven’t had an old fashioned, but if it tastes anything like this I think I’ll like it. Boozy, strong and smooth. A good end of fall beer.

Sun-Day-Feels K.

Sort of tastes like that canned fruit cocktail juice but I don’t mind. Fruity but not sour, which was a nice change of pace.

Panther Cub (2021) K.

A nice mix of maple and bourbon. Slight hint of chocolate as well. Another good one from Founders.

Campfire Amplifier K.

First thing I tasted was the graham crackers. Actually tastes very similar to a s’mores, more so than other s’mores stouts.

Big Lushious K.

Impressive beer. Very sweet. Surprisingly, the chocolate doesn’t overpower the raspberry. Perfect substitute for dessert.

KBS Espresso (2020) K.

Surprising amount of chocolate mixed in with a nice amount of espresso. Not too much coffee flavor but enough to know it’s there. Pleasantly surprised with this one.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge K.

Smelled and tasted the maple syrup from the very first sip, followed by a sweet, delayed fudge aftertaste. This is the definition of a dessert beer. Slight coffee flavor but not overpowering.

Big Lushious K.

An even amount of raspberry and chocolate. Sweet but tart flavors. Tasted like a pretty good dessert.

Punkin Ale (2020) K.

They did what they said: they made a pumpkin ale and they nailed it! Tasted just like a pumpkin.

Milk Stout K.

Can’t say I’ve had many Belgian stouts, but it’s an interesting and unique combination. Two very good flavor profiles in one.

Marvelroast (2020) K.

Wowza! Probably the best beer I’ve had in awhile. Tastes like a coffee with a bunch of creamer and milk sugar, but even better somehow. 👌

KBS K.

Reaffirming this one was 👌. Straight coffee with a little bourbon.
