Surprisingly, to me, almost subtle variation of the stalwart KBS. Mild fruity nose, deep stout flavors with a jammy finish

KBS Spicy Chocolate (2023) Averello

Nice sweet, mildly spicy stout. I guess that I've had more exotic high octane fare so this seems very tame.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2022) Averello

Nice but not overly impressive BBA stout. A bit thin but tasty.

French Toast Bastard Averello

Starts with a solid cinnamon and maple syrup nose with a hint of bourbon barrel aging follows up with notes of vanilla, cinnamon and maple syrup.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge Averello

Unimpressive stout. Not detecting any barrel aging. A bit thin for something in this ABV range. Although the flavor is pretty nice with chocolate and maple notes.

KBS Averello

Lovely smooth coffee stout with faint barrel aged notes. I guess this is what mass market BA stuff is like. Nice but no punch.

Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter Averello

Smooth, boozy and fragrant. Thick pour for an ale, solid nose of bourbon and fruit.

Marvelroast Averello

Nice ale that starts with a solid vanilla nose. Smooth with some coffee tastes.
