Excellent brown imperial that balances a great bite with rich flavors. Coffee and malt are the stars here but a slight sweet chocolate liqueur is present throughout. Delicious!

4 Giants IPA (2020) Silva-Brown

This is an odd balance that somehow comes together in a very nice beer. The bitterness is there but is overtaken by a malty tinge of sweetness that is just present, then fades at the finish. This is good but might be great in the future.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) Silva-Brown

Might be the perfect chocolate and coffee stout. It’s balanced very well but the fingerprints of both are all over this brew; coffee at the start melding into a hint of rich, chocolate sweetness at the finish.
