The Cranfather Drew

Interesting brew. Ale aged in bourbon barrels with a strong initial cranberry taste. The bourbon barrel aging offsets the fruitiness of the cranberry. Generally not a fan of fruity beers but pleasantly surprised with Cranfather. Ideal fall seasonal.

SeaQuench Ale Drew

Good thirst quenching sour from Dogfish Head. Tart, light and citrusy yet a very smooth thirst quenching brew. Combines a Kolsch with a Berliner Weisse. Nice summer brew.

Dirty Bastard Drew

Scotch ale from Founders Brewing. Malty richness is the best way to describe this beer. Smooth with some sweetness but strong and touch of hop and booziness on the way down. Would you expect anything else from a beer named “Dirty Bastard”? Good brew.

Frootwood Drew

Cherry ale that has been aged in oak barrels that once held both bourbon and maple syrup. Sweet, fruity with just a touch of tartness from the cherry. Solid ABV at 8%. If you are looking for something sweet and fruity, this brew is for you.

Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter Drew

Excellent beer from Founders Brewing. Inspired from bourbon based cocktails, this barrel aged brew has a boozy taste complemented with hints of cherry and orange peel with some brown sugar. It’s a sipper at 11% which you know by now this reviewer likes.
