Cracked this open from 2017. Likes it a lot more than the utopias version I bought at the same time. Lots of barrel and while it was boozy it was less than expected 4.44

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020) N
Held onto one and figured 1 year and 11 months was a good amount of time. All chocolate. The maple and bourbon have totally faded but still enjoyed it.

Usually buy a bottle or two and age one for a bit. Grabbed a four pack and cracked this open. It has some great hops coming through a boozy but sweet finish. 4.3

Dogfish Head and Trillium collab? Don’t mind if I do. Tropical and juicy. Very much a blend of the two great breweries. Doesn’t hurt to drink this one after a day at the beach either. 4.05

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020) N
Sat in the fridge for a year and this is literally fudge in barrel aged liquid form. Smell a little of the maple and there’s some bitterness from the coffee over time but the sweet strong chocolate flavor offsets that. Cold night. Fire going. 4.15
