Nose is hazelnut, dark roasted coffee, rich roasted malt, black molasses, dark chocolate, roasted barley, & oak barrel. Taste follows the nose with a nice warm punch of bourbon on the finish. Medium-thick bodied mouthfeel. Delicious.

Had a fresh one yesterday. Cracked a 2017 tonight, and it’s held up beautifully. 🍻

Nose is caramelized brown sugar, oak, black molasses, dark fruits, and some barrel notes. Taste is barrel up front, followed by oak, vanilla, scotch flavor, dark fruits, and some spiciness. Pretty thick bodied. Upper medium bodied feel. Very solid.

Aroma is pine an resin. That’s literally all I’m getting. Taste is pine, light citrus, little bit of grassiness. Not much to this. Mouthfeel is medium to thin bodied. Just decent. Not great at all.

Aroma is big time coffee, bittersweet dark chocolate, rich roasted malt. Taste follows the nose, but also with very slight hints of black molasses, and caramel toffee. Great beer, really enjoyed it.
