Old label was better. I haven’t checked this in since 2017. Used to be one of my favorite stouts. Still solid.

Founders Oktoberfest (2023)

Yard work done. Washed the car. Beautiful Fall day. Watch the Packers lose to the Broncos in a bit. I’ve always thought Founders lagers have been good, which includes this one. Cheers!

All Day Haze

Enjoyed on draft and in can. Good warm weather brew to knock back.

All Day Crimson Sky

I’ve always liked Red IPAs. This is a flavorful little bastard. Nice balance of malt sweetness with piney hops, and all at 4.7%.

All Day West Coast

Crisp and easy drinking with floral, pine, and citrus notes. A nice patio pounder or golf course option.

Oktoberfest

Nice Fall day. I really like Founders Oktoberfest. Perfect for grilling some brats and watching the squirrels.

Ultimate Oktoberfest

Finally done painting the shed. Now to sit here and watch the squirrels. This beer isn’t bad at all. I actually quite enjoy the aroma. Having said that, this just kind of demonstrates that not all beers are better or require time in a bourbon barrel.

That’s the stuff! Good job Founders! No need for the grapefruit or prickly pear. This is good shit!

Más Agave Prickly Pear

Good…. And I mean this in a positive way…. This to me, is like a high octane Berry Weiss. I definitely prefer the original, but I’m glad I picked up a single of this to try.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge

Grabbed a single for 7 bucks. Kinda glad I just got a single. BA has this as world class. I disagree. The nose is very inviting, but flavors just don’t get there for me. Their use of maple in CBS set the standard. This is above average, not spectacular.

I can pound this stuff. So good! Also still 10%, so better ease up a little. Not sure why I haven’t just bumped this to 5 caps for as much as I enjoy it. Think I will.
