Vanilla Cola O L

So conflicted about these New fangled beers/ concoctions. Really does taste like old fashioned Cola bottles/ cubes. Even has that eye watering sourness to it. Interesting I guess, classed as mead but is it really beer?

Bean Geeks - Session Porter L

Great value for how thick roasty full of flavour it is/ also considering it's imported. Scored it down slightly as its almost too thick chalky and sedimentary & an organic coffee flavour is present in a big way but is slightly too bitter like stale coffee

Stedsegrøn / Evergreen L

A bit bland, insipid and undistinguished. My new knee brace on the other hand; look at that piece of engineering. I'm now essentially one fifth a T-800 model.

The lengths & trouble I will go to for a porter or stout are alarming. After a harrowing few hours in the Danish resistance museum this smooth sweetish coffee porter was definately worth the 2 mile walk out of town and bargain price of £5.50 for a pint.

Castle Black Stout L

If your going to pay £9.25 for a 1/4 of a pint you want it to be thicker than coagulated blood, sweeter than a blind new born puppy & stronger than an oxe. Thankfully this one is all of the above. A bit like sweet, liquid Nutella. This is what I came for!

This stuff has more in common with cider than a sour beer really but I'm no hardline beer puritan so I'll happily drink it and review it. Light cherry flavours dominate what is otherwise an uber sweet and .... cidery beer?

Side Eyes L

Not sure whether't name of this beer is a reference to the look the mrs gives me when shes so mad that she cant even look directly at me or whether its what my eyes do when I'm sat on the beech in my mirrored sunglasses. Nice straight forward floral ale.

Do Stuff Together L

All a bit lemony snicket, hazy & hoppy which isn't really my bag baby. Also me & the mrs like to do things independently. The antithesis of swans we only come together 2 procreate then live in separate rooms have separate interests & lead separate lifes.

Floral and hoppy ipa/ lager hybrid. Never sure what to make of these basterdised beers that sit on the fence and play it so fast and loose.
