French Toast Bastard 2023 Naeem

[4.10] Dark fruits, cinnamon, maple, fig/raisin, clove/nutmeg. Vanilla/oak of barrel with bourbon complexion resembling clear liquor…guessing it’s more characteristic of the style. @11.1% drinks real light, subtleness appreciated, still body lacks filling

Campfire Amplifier Naeem

[3.95] Adjuncts are pretty nice…perhaps more to be desired but good foundation. Lightly sprinkled cinnamon and faint milk chocolate; good graham cracker supporting fairly strong marshmallow. Dark chocolate and coffee on the stout

Punkin Ale Naeem

[4.10] Nice hop bite; like an ipa or strong ale base with pumpkin...and maybe spice bordering belgian style? Nevertheless, stays true to the actual style with high accessibility. Pumpkin puree in the zone and cinnamon shines on the backend. Little light

Grolsch Premium Lager Naeem

[3.80] The crisp hop bitterness permeates the adjunct tasting malt so well that it’s hard to really complain. I’m a little bias toward regional beers that are low-key in the macro export game. But easy to drink, german hoppy mix with dos equis malt

KBS Naeem

[4.40] Very unique flavor, everything in the blend coming together. Somehow slightly watery feeling for a 12%, which in a way is impressive atop not tasting like 12%. Strong vanilla atop a nice chocolate base, everything else creating a unique background

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge Naeem

Bourbon is nice. So damn easy drinkin for 11%. Tasty. Light in a way but fully packed. Fudge is at a high level on the taste but not enough to overpower the rest, coffee bitterness creates a nice bitter balance and maple syrup smooths out the edges
