Ruby colour, great wintery fruity aroma of prunes and raisins. Complex, malty, fruity taste of prunes, raisins, a little nuttiness and caramel with an amazing almost barrel aged vinous /sherry taste unbelievably achieved only by the malts! A masterpiece!

Creamy tan head. Dark colour. Barrel aged nose. Malty, coffee and bourbon in abundance and some roast and chocolate. A slight coconut taste from the bourbon. Some sweetness but not too sweet, quite thin for the abv. Complex and delicious! A little boozy.

Black Bear Mcdonald

Creamy, medium tan head, persistant. Malty, coffee, raisins, boozy aroma. Dark brown and cloudy. In the mouth malty, roasty with raisins, coffee, chocolate, molasses, a little boozy. Some sweetness but balanced by a Roasty bitterness. Medium to high body

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) Mcdonald

Had it at breakfast time! Went down great! Not thick or syrupy. Some chocolate, coffee, vanilla, bourbon and maple in a balanced, very drinkable strong, slightly sweet stout.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge Mcdonald

Boozy chocolate nose, rich barrel aged chocolate cake taste, boozy with some toasted coconut..? Much better on draft than in the bottle!

Wow! A perfect meld of sweetness and barrel-aged goodness! A masterclass! Not thick or syrupy, goes down very easily, superb beer!

Balanced lactose sweet mixture of vanilla, chocolate, coffee and barrel agedness! Not bad but maybe a bit synthetic...

Kentucky Bourbon Stout (KBS) (2021) Mcdonald

Strong, boozy, bourbon, Roasty, coffee, chocolate, warming, slick, dark fruits, sweet but not overly, not thick or syrupy and did i mention boozy!?!? Served a little too cold imo to get more flavours, but couldn't wait for it to warm up and find out! 😂

Nice moreish beer from a solid brewery. Plenty of raspberry, probably a little too much that hides a little the other flavours.. Still got some chocolate though.. Easy drinking and quite light..

Thick, smooth, luscious... Very dark! Dark chocolate, roasty, a little bitter maybe... Perceived a slight metallic taste however... Great on the nose!
