Michael McWett

It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere at the Paradise Hotel

True ales, stouts, porters, Belgians and English IPAs are my favorites. Some sours, German beers and micro lagers.

Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter McWett

Must have been aged in high end bourbon barrels as the sweetness of great bourbon comes thru with a bit of vanilla to round it out.

Porter McWett

Another great Porter with a bit of lingering coffee taste. Smooth and full bodied.

KBS McWett

Dark enough to drink under a full moon. A stout worthy of Katherine the Great of Russia. A tribute to the strongest stouts that require a a fair amount of Moxie to appreciate. Bourbon and coffee that almost makes you want to wake up to it.

Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter McWett

Shot and a beer except the bourbon is already inside. A terrific beer that gives you a bourbon start and a vanilla finish that gives it balance and a smooth finish. Slightly sweet and really great.

Goes great with Halibut just off the grill. A great blend of bourbon and stout.

Bourbon and chocolate make a great marriage and they did well here. Powerful flavors that make you anting more.

Panther Cub (2021) McWett

Sweetness from the maple syrup barrel aging along with a vanilla finish makes this a unique Porter that is powerful. Very drinkable and a great dessert pairing.

Backwoods Bastard McWett

Really a great beer from one of my favorite breweries. A bit of smoke with the bourbon notes brings out the slightest sweetness to go with a complex blend of flavors, wishing it came in a bigger bottle.

Solid Gold McWett

Reminds me of sitting in a Bierstube in Munich. Only thing missing is some oompah music and a big pretzel.
