I donโt drink many stouts (I like โem, but there are other styles I like more), but having heard so much about this one, I went for it. Great nose, head, and color, good mouthfeel (not too heavy or too thick), and great chocolate, coffee, & bourbon notes.

Backwoods and Dirty Bastard are two personal faves, so I was eager to try something else from Founders. This was very good i- Dogfish Head 90 minute sets the Imperial IPA bar, but this is one of the better ones Iโve had. Smooth drinking, tasty finish.

Years after first trying it, this beer is still in the conversation for being my all time favorite. First time trying it on a c an - still superb.
