Gose To Hollywood

Hazy, not too tart, but enough sourness here. Fruity, light and refreshing.

Dirty Bastard

Beerwulf advent calendar day 7. Beauty of the wee heavy style. Quite sweet, a bit smoky and peaty. Really smooth. Cheers 🍻

Geuze Mariage Parfait (2017)

Strong Belgian sour, almost vinegary as this is 5 years old. Hints of sweetness, plus some oaky bitterness. Another one ticked off from the 1001 Beer book.

Oude Geuze Boon

Think this is my first venture into the lambic style. Enjoying it. Quite malty, decent sour hit, sharp with some grape flavours coming through, giving it some sweetness and a fairly dry and fruity finish.

Peter, Pale and Mary Gluten Free

Hoppy and dry pale ale. Some tropical and citrusy aromas but with a predominantly dry and bitter finish. Nice easy drinking beer. And yes I’m aware there is some irony in my glass saying “battling to support pubs” and this being supermarket bought 😬😝
