Clear mahogany, thick off-white head. Beautiful malty nose, British barley wine, licorice, tobacco, caramel, wood. Bittersweet flavor, molasses, malts, a bit like Fullers Vintage Ale. Lasting bitter finish. Impressive brew.

Black, brown head, love that. Beautiful nose of roasted malts, some coffee, chocolate. Smooth coffee flavor, roasted malts, caramel, some hop bitterness shining through. Very well balanced.

Extremely cloudy, thick white head. Explosion of fruit in aroma, tropical, yeast. Smooth, fruity, well balanced. Love it!

Great looks, beautiful head. Vinous nose, fruity, not that tart. Fruity flavor, remarkably sweet, very little sourness, wood, bit of tannines even. Dry finish. Well brewed, but i miss the sourness and tartness.

This is outstanding. Roasted malts, coffee, hops, lasting bitterness. And only 7.5%. Fantastic stout.
