90 Minute Imperial IPA Staradumsky

Cheers to the Beer Hunter Michael Jackson! Yesterday would have been his 82nd birthday.

Snowbound Vanilla Porter Staradumsky

Chocolate and vanilla in the nose, smooth medium body, rich roasty, more vanilla and chocolate pudding, dry roasty finish. Vanilla comes through nicely.

Backwoods Bastard Staradumsky

One of my favorite Founders beers. Just love the way the boozy bourbon notes pop against the caramelly, smoked peat Scotch Ale notes.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) Staradumsky

Was looking forward to this all weekend, so popped a bottle when I got home Sunday night. Might be better than ever.

Chocolate Cherry KBS Staradumsky

Like a bourbon-soaked cherry chocolate cordial. Overpriced at $24 for a 4-pack, but tasty nonetheless.

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa Staradumsky

A lot going on here! Nose of boozy bourbon, pungent cinnamon, and fudge. A sip, the beer is thick and viscous in body with strong coffee and cocoa fudge notes, warming bourbon, underlining vanilla and subtle cinnamon, strong boozy bourbon more cin finish.

Punkin Ale Staradumsky

Classic! Nose bursting with hotball cinnamon and mince pie notes. Taking a sip, the beer is medium in body with burnt brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vegetal pumpkin.

Hazy-O! Staradumsky

Citrusy orange and grapefruit nose, medium bodied but par for the course for the style, smooth pasty oats , more of the citrus the nose promised plus lemon rind and a moderately bitter finish.

Game of Thrones - Iron Anniversary IPA Staradumsky

Juicy nose of orange and lemongrass. Taking a sip, the beer is medium in body with powerful citrus rind notes, and a very long herbal earthy dry bitter finish. This is very good, I really love the herbal grassy notes the Styrian dry hopping imparts.
