Not bad, but simple and a bit tilted to the sour side (I know, it's a sour...). I would have liked sweet orange notes to balance the sour pomegranate notes better.

Maybe a little too "predictable" if that was ever a bad thing with beer...

A beer without mango puree and other fruit juices... lovely, maybe it's actually a beer then?!

Fruit juice or beer? Some brewers have to make a decision, honestly. Which business are you in? Didn't finish it (unless the sink counts...).

When Life Gives You MANGO Make Milkshake IPA! Friis
If mango puree is added to a beer - and it reminds me more of mango ice cream, mango yoghurt or a mango flavoured soft drink than actually beer... my rating will reflect it. The responsibility for buying this beer, however, was mine and mine alone.

For an American barley wine, I'd like more pronounced hop notes than this one has. Not a bad beer by any means, though. Just not great either.

Not a fan of this. Acidic with bitter fruit notes. Maybe it'll develop after a few years in the bottle, but now it lacks balance and depth. The alcohol seems well integrated, though. Taking price into consideration, it's a downright failure.

Quite often less is more. Anyone that can catch the notes from the hops constituting less than 5% of the recipe total... you have my utmost respect (but I don't necessarily believe you 😉). Not a bad beer, but surely not great either by any means.

To keep it short: A standard German Hefeweizen is better.

After 3 years in the basement... this is a stunner. Rounded, deep, alcohol very well integrated.

My Æbleskive Is Bigger Than Yours Brandy Barrel 2022 Friis
Would probably benefit from a few years of maturing... and I've got another in stock for "verification" (of course, I have) I'm not blown away by it, but on the other hand, I'm a bit impressed by the "æbleskive" concept, it definitely fits the bill!

Was there ever a 1-dimensional beer? Maybe 2-dimensional as it's star anise and bitterness. One could say 3-dimensional, star anise, star anise and bitterness. You get the point? Not a bad craft, just lacking balance. Didn't finish it, obviously.

Nice texture, depth and balance between bitter and sweet. As a collab beer, probably a one off, but I see it on the shelf again somewhere, it's a no brainer.

I'm soooo not with the crowd on this one. Not even close. Oh well, the one I had was just a couple of weeks old, so indeed very fresh. Fantastic job, guys!! To the "doubters": Tell me how to do this better!!

Ordinary at best. The price is horrible (36 DKK)! Look at Germany for a similar beer style. German industrial breweries do it better than this and at a ⅓ or ¼ of the price. May seem like a knock at Mikkeller. It ain't, just facts.

Still have to try a Session IPA that blows me away. This one, decent for sure. But no more than that. Just like "all" Session IPAs, the nose is better than the palate. I don't say that the opposite isn't possible, butI've never tried it, though.

More "vibrant" than the previous one, I had. Maybe a bit fresher (I didn't notice production dates, I have to admit).

Just good stuff from To Øl (yet again). How this brewery still hasn't won the Best Brewery award in the annual "Danske Ølentusiaster" awards is beyond me. Seriously.

A little restrained on the nose, on the palate, however, not restrained at all, (sour) cherry explosion.. Good stuff!

Not a fan of this one tbh. To Øl have done better on several other occasions. A lot better. I'm closer to a 3.00 than a 3.50 on this one.

The nose has a lovely yeasty note that reminds me of Stille Nacht by De Dolle Brouwers. The palate a bit "dusty" with light spices and yeasty, citrusy notes. Excellent take on the saison beer style.

Probably the best non-alcoholic beer, I've ever had until now.

More black than IPA. I taste a nice brew, and that's what I rate it for, but if balance between "black" and "IPA" was the goal, my rating would've been significantly lower (3.00-3.25). This beer style has me confused a bit, don't know what to expect.

It's a very good (but not great) beer. It lacks a bit of balance, as it is a bit on the sweet side for me. I'd also like a bit more "body" (not much, just a bit) for a 10,1% imp. stout.

Not a total fan of the nose, as the honey sweetness reminds me a bit of mead, which I don't like. It's not dominating, but it's there. To be fair, everything is very well balanced with this one. Nice, non-alcoholic beer. One of the best, I've had.

Great attempt on a German Lager. Only downside is that quite a few German breweries do it at least as good (if not better) and at a third or fourth og the price that I paid for this can. But let's stay positive: Excellent lager!
