Super strawberry and really jam like. Maybe a little vanilla in there. The honey is well hidden. The photo is from the museum earlier today. A redness of another kind.

Juicy with some tangerine and pineapple. It is the opening party here. We were just passing to go back to the hotel and were drawn in. Anti panic poster from the museum earlier.

Sweet little baby mead. Collab with Cloudwater. Lots of elderflower. Just a little astringent honey in the finish.

Is it punk rock beer? I'll just leave that there. It is free anyway. Hoppier, but stilll quite sweet. Less alcohol less better.

Taking a tour of the Vatican Museum, on Zoom of course. Someday we can do it in person again. Lots of fresh raspberry, but pleasingly dry in the finish.

A Christmas gift from David V. on the quest to complete the wheel of styles. I have to say it is not my style. The honey and chilli take it slightly too far towards cough syrup, but I think that is a personal preference thing. I see the skill.

I'm always cautious about meads as I do not like sickly sweet honey drinks. The tartness of the fruit works well here for me. Lots of grapefruit and really thick. More local street art from our walk.

We are going top shelf tonight. It is all about the vintage. All the raisins and prunes. Some licorice funky sweetness. Murky sludgy excellence.

This is the kind of thing you give a cat to make it look like it is talking. Very funky and sour. Lip smakingly good. Tastes of berries with a long sour finish.

Spontanelderflower (2017) Vinson
This has been resting in the pub cellar for three years, and I am sure it has been for the best. Very sour. The elderflower is still apparent, but more a floral after taste. This feels like a great treat.

Quite light and a little sweet. Tastes like a corporate giant. Not terrible. It will do.

An IPA with some of the characteristics of a nice bitter. Caramel malt that gives it a biscuity flavour without being particularly sweet. Very good.
