The platonic ideal of the brew. The pinnacle of flavour-craft. Oak-aged ichor. What an exceptional vintage, and in turn, what a shame there are so few of it left. God bless beer.

Between the champagne cork and the scintillating sour superstrata, this is always a beer I consider a real treat. Many reflexively reject the tartness in cowardice. To refuse to reckon with this drink is to turn away from the complexities of God, of life.
