SeaQuench Ale Thomas

My taste in sours has changed considerably (and rapidly) since last time I had this, so reposting. Pretty good! Good citrusy flavour, a little coriander, slight bitterness, light saline quality. Indeed oceanic. Fresh and refreshing, but bold.

Grolsch Premium Lager Thomas

Solid pils, nothing amazing but not at all bad. Slightly sweet, slightly tangy, good malty flavour, a bit of orange, pinch of graphite. A little bitter on the finish but it doesn’t last long at all, pretty clean and smooth, refreshing ice cold. A classic

Kernza Pils Thomas

Tasty if a little bland. Wheat, orange, stone. Brewed with an added special grain and maybe that does give it a unique flavour but all the flavours pretty light so it’s hard to discern. Medium-low acidity, quite dry. Fairly refreshing, not bad.

Pretty sour, not much else. I like how the branding makes me think of things oceanic, but it’s just mainly lime. Quite sour, maybe a little too sour, or at least too sour without anything else to balance it, like some sweetness or bolder flavours. Fine.
