Fully aromatic with notes of turtle fudge and toast. It’s dense and focused, with an astringent bitterness from the bourbon barrel aging. Though not as dominant with the maple, the nuttiness, dark chocolate, and oak flavors really show.

Floral, hoppy notes, caramel, and grapefruit rind all pop out of the glass. All that plus some malt on the palate make for a consistent and bitter, yet rich character.
