Curmudgeon’s Better Half (2017) H.

I have decided that I like everything from Founders and this is no exception. Big beer at 12.7% but the wood and sweetness from the bourbon and maple barrel ageing make this old ale a delicious drop.

Thanks to Purvis this beer did not need to isolate on arrival from Victoria. Up with Dankwood, CBS, KBS and Backwoods. Imperial gose has ginger start quickly followed by tequila, lime and salt finish. Love the 10% barrel aged finish.
