Very light. Flavours tasted watered down. Underwhelmed, especially compared to some of Founders’ other stouts.

KBS Blueberry Ambler

It’s alright. It’s better than I expected. The blueberry adds a nice tartness to balance the beer out. But still, I’m not in love with it.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2018) Ambler

Smooth, rich, tasty. Nice maple hints, but not as strong as I suspected. Founders makes really good stouts, hands down.

Chocolate Cherry KBS Ambler

Tasty! Strong cherry aroma, moderate cherry taste. Quite tasty, but not as good as some of the other KBS variants. (Looking at you, Maple Mackinac Fudge.)

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge Ambler

Absolutely. Amazing. Layered, complex, smooth, rich, delicious. Maple and fudge are present, but not terribly sweet. This is damn near BBA stout perfection.

KBS Ambler

Reunited with an old friend. Still smooth, rich, and delicious. Coffee, dark chocolate, and bourbon combine to make a very solid BA stout.

Decent, but lacks the complexity and richness of the KBS.
