Implosion Lager

Mildly hazy pale gold; pretty big persistent white head. No aroma. Light fruity flavour, crisp and fairly tangy, a faint tea character. Good texture but a bit easygoing to be truly convincing.

Oude Geuze Boon (2019-2020)

Moderately hazy amber-gold, lots of suspended particles; small shortlived whitish head. Tangy, fruity aroma, a bit of tealike herbaceous complexity. Bright, tart, mildly juicy flavour, quite astringent; lemon and more tea. Spiky and a bit challenging.

Kriek 100% Lambic Bio

"2022" on cork. Hazy garnet; fairly big pale pink head. Light, tart, drying, vinous aroma; almost acetic, but also complex + riesling-like. Milder-tasting than expected, approaching savoury, tart. Thick mouthfeel. Underwhelming, lacks fruit character.

Framboise Boon

Third. Clear ruby colour. Tart berry aroma but also something weirdly resembling raw meat; some creamy sweetness. Strong, juicy taste, almost sour; good balance and freshness. Nice.

Strawberry Cranachan

Faintly hazy mid red; modest palish pink head. Appealing, quite intense sweet strawberry aroma. Concentrated flavour, good tartness, strong fruit character. Quite thick, a touch creamy, borderline medicinal. Delicious, different, almost too intense.

Limbo - Riesling

Faintly hazy bright lemon colour; moderate white head. Mild fruity-hoppy aroma. Full, sweet, tangy flavour, good grape character, bright and clean. A world away from beer but really tasty.

Drink'in The Sun (0.3%)

Clear yellow colour; huge off-white head. Creamy citrus aroma. Sweetish taste, slight bitterness. Ok.

Implosion

Opaque apricot colour; big, loose, white head. Mild pineapple-hop aroma. Light, sweetish, faintly crisp taste, more hop character but low bitterness. Refreshing and pleasant, if a touch anonymous.

Drink'in The Sun (0.3%)

Faintly hazy mid yellow; huge, persistent, smooth, white head. Bright, clean citrus biscuit aroma. Rather hoppy taste, but mostly fragrant rather than bitter. On the sweeter side, mildest crispness. Interesting but not quite balanced. Needs lemonade.

Ich Bin Raspberry

Pale red, faintest haze; big, loose, baby pink head. Tangy, fruity aroma, definitely raspberry but not entirely clean. Tart flavour, juicy and mildly creamy. Nice, pretty simple, quite fun.
