Nice to taste a porter from Founders for a while (after usual IS’s). These guys are usually pretty good in working with the BBA so it compliments the beer and here is no exception. I would have not liked a Pint at one go because of the Vanilla but here ok

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2018) Vuorio
It is what it is. Modern classic. Nice balance with the sweet ingredients and barrel. Might have been missing the sharpness slightly with my (additional) aging. LT from 09.01.2021

One could put ”west coast ipa” in the dictionary under the ”Craft beer”. Very standard instance of a beer delight, with no gimmicks. Same here.

Very curious.. the white wine juice certainly brings sort of acidic character that is not usually seen in beer otherwise (especially in NEIPA style). I was left wondering if I had spotted the ingredients in a blind tasting. Refreshing to be left thinking!
