This has all of the ingredients to make a great IPA: hops with citrus and grapefruit notes but they are too subtle. Expecting an explosion of flavours, but the fuse didn't light. It's not bad, but not great.

Jule Malt 2.0 Macphail

Heavily roasted malts to start, this finishes with a burnt treacle note that lingers long in the aftertaste. All the while there is a milk note with a very strong boozy warmth throughout the entire drink. A fantastic winter warmer 👍🏻

Birramisu Macphail

This smells strange: fragrances of chilli and pepper, this made me apprehensive. The tastes are more in keeping with the theme as you get coffeee with notes of cake and a whack of booze. 370ml is more than enough; don't order a pint.
