Velvet Rush (2021) Weiskirch

Imperial brown ale brewed with coffee, chocolate, vanilla extract & milk sugar aged in bourbon barrels. After 2 1/2 years of aging, smooth with zero booziness. Slightly bitter chocolate & coffee hits first. Ends with a smooth light barrel.

Ultimate Oktoberfest Weiskirch

Märzen aged in bourbon barrels for 9 months. Aroma has just a trace of barrel essence. Smooth for a barrel aged beer. More woody, earthy character than bourbon or alcohol. Nice caramel malt that blends wonders with the barrel.

Backwoods Bastard (2017) Weiskirch

Aged almost exactly 5 years to the day. Strong aroma. Past it’s prime. Aged too long. Good amount of character has fallen off, including the barrel. Aged 5 years mellowed this beer out and then some.

120 Minute IPA (2019) Weiskirch

“Brewed to a colossal 45°P, boiled for a full 2 hours while being continually hopped with high alpha American hops, dry-hopped every day in the fermenter for a month, & aged for a month on whole leaf hops.” Smooth with an imperial IPA bitter harsh finish.

120 Minute Ipa (2022) Weiskirch

Continuously hopped with a copious amount of high - alpha america hops throughout the boil & whirlpool. The. dry hopped with another pallet of hops. Unfiltered & abundantly hoppy. Unbelievably stupid smooth! Heavy malt character. Hop’d to the next level!!

4 Giants Hazy IPA Weiskirch

Imperial Hazy IPA. Decent haziness. Mild tropical hop, super weak citrus hop. Hop bitterness isn’t as strong as the original 4 Giants.

Frootwood (2022) Weiskirch

Cherry ale aged in oak barrels that have held both bourbon and maple syrup. Doesn’t come across as a barrel aged beer. Slightly sweet. Mildly fruity. Nice color.

Bottle Shop Nemesis Release 01 Weiskirch

Barleywine style. Super interesting. Get some Barleywine, weak coffee notes, and bitter hops. It all works!

Imperial Brown Ale brewed with Sumatra coffee aged in bourbon barrels. Coffee and barrel are dominant. Coffee has gained some bitterness. Smooth barrel notes. Delicious.

Kentucky Bourbon Stout (KBS) (2021) Weiskirch

Breakfast Stout aged in bourbon barrels. Good ol’ KBS. For some reason it tastes even better when up north...

Barleywine. Roasty, toasty, lightly heavy hopped up. Little malt sweetness as the beer warms up some.

4 Giants IPA (2021) Weiskirch

Imperial IPA. First time in a can. Enjoying it just as much as bottled. Malty, bitter hops without the harshness for an imperial.

Panther Cub (2021) Weiskirch

Robust Porter aged in bourbon barrels with vanilla extract & maple syrup added. Seems sweet for barrel aged. Not much barrel presence at all. Heavy on the vanilla. Some sweetness from the maple syrup. Easiest drinking barrel aged beer I’ve ever had.
