KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2022) G

Maple, big fudge, and coffee on the nose. Taste is enormous mocha, maple must've aged out, no bitterness at all - at least not served at a low room temp. Nice, solid dessert stout. Bottled 8/9/22 4⭐

Breakfast Stout G

Hadn't had this in years. Chocolate and roast are overwhelming the coffee a bit, oatmeal mouthfeel is there but nowhere near chewy. Not too complex but as a basic semi-macro breakfast stout it's alright. 3¾⭐

Dirty Bastard G

Another backlog beer, hadn't bothered in years. Malty aroma, and malt sweetness is very forward on the palate. Body is just a bit on the heavy side, barely. Hops really come through on the finish to dry out the simple, almost caramelly sweet beginning.

Porter G

Backlog posting. Hadn't had this in ages. Sweet aroma, silky creamy mouthfeel, chocolatey malty goodness and just enough of a very mild, pleasant drying effect from the dark malt. A good old standby.
