Bottle Shop Series: Highball Drifter (2021) L.
Lots of vanilla and sweet bourbon. Full of flavor, evolves into a nice malty chocolaty beer.

Murky brown with good retention. Nuts, vanilla, creamy milk chocolate, coffee and caramel. Bourbon influence is nicely balanced. All classic flavours are there, very clean brew. Sweet and slightly boozy finish.

Backlog from June 2019. Lots of hops, some lime, some rose-like flavours. Very thin. Very long, bitter, near-metallic aftertaste. I expected so much more.

Starts off with smoked/roasted flavours, then bitter coffee, followed by vanilla and chocolate, with an amazing creamy-smooth mocha aftertaste. Wow! What a taste evolution, but the original KBS blends a bit more harmoniously

Backlog from July 9, 2020. Beautiful lacing. Strong brown ale with hazelnut coffee infusion. Sweet, intense, caramel, cookies, vanilla. Warm alcoholic finish.

Backlog from July 23, 2020. Hazy black beer with a thick long lasting beige head. Coffee, liquorice, slightly smoked with a powerful chocolate finish. Well balanced, but I expected more body and flavour evolution.
