Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2017) W.
Complete with Mounty, this is my favourite CBS year and sadly my last bottle; the maple and coffee still present and perfectly balanced coming through nicely. Great beer, full of boozy sweet warmth.

Big bold and sweet old ale, plenty still happening here with maple notable bringing a heightened lingering sweetness - nice autumnal sipping beer.

Gives little on the nose, but plenty of coffee resting on top of the usual bourbon, alcohol warmth and smooth character of the KBS. Nice twist on the original, if you like your coffee. Sweetness from the bourbon balanced well with the bitter coffee.

This really is quite possibly the perfect imperial stout, everything just right and as it should be.

Great brown ale, deceptively hides ABV within a smooth, wonderfully nutty mildly sweet flavourful traditional brown. Just what a brown should be.
