Stay In Stout

Chocolate and nutty flavors don’t blend as well as one would hope, leaving a finish that has a burnt note to it. Sweet and only a hint of coffee. Not one of the better varietals.

Wonderful tart blueberry finish with vanilla, chocolate, bourbon and coffee notes in a rich sweet body.

Dirty Bastard

Got a dirty Dirty Bastard, and August 2023 bottle but a lot of particulate floating. Poured careful, still enjoyed the rich caramel red ale.

Wake Up World Wide Stout

Sweet with a cinnamon snap, nice coffee balance and a slight bitter on the finish.

I read the label this time which notes coffee, chocolate, AND chocolate syrup. That may account for the body. Tasty bourbon and blueberry sweet with a tart finish.

I’m usually not a fruity beer guy, but this is oh so nice! Pours dark and rich with bourbon notes and subtle blueberry sweet with a tart finish. A perfect hot weather stout!
