Doublebock Frederiksdal Cherries Houle
Very sour cherry. Not artificial. But not sour enough for my liking. Super solid though!

Santa's Hoppy Helpers (2021) Houle
Very hoppy, but in an earthy way. More hoppy that I normally like, but it’s blended well.

Not as bad as you think. Thick with a robust “spicy” taste. Has a chili taste down the throat.

It’s SO good. Rich, bursting with flavor, with wood and vanilla notes.

Doesn’t really taste like a pale ale. It’s like a German alt beer. Tastes pretty good though.

Very nice sour. Strong berry taste that isn’t fake. Very sour. Sort of tart aftertaste.

Don’t understand what’s the difference between a IPL and IPA in this case because it tastes exactly the same. It’s fine, but bitter without much of a range.

Very nice. It’s sour in a more Flemish red (or brown) style. The barrel-aging gives it a nice wooden sweetness. It also brings the sweetness down from the fruit.

I taste the coffee, but not so much the “cake” part. A bit too bitter; has a Starbucks pike place taste.

Easy-to-drink, fruity (but not too sweet), and slightly sour (could be more so). I wish it was a bit more intense.
