Like a slightly more refined Jacobsen yakima ipa. Equally citrusy but More bitter. Crisp and fresh.

Still delicious and full of tropical delight. Almost paradoxical in nature: Alcohol is cleatly present although subdued and well integrated. It’s round yet it has edge! Seemingly fruity and simple yet complex and interesting. A joy every single time.

Like someone dropped berry lemonade concentrate in a nice stout. It’s good for sure, but I would have rated it higher if the lemonade was dialed down a bit.

Very aptly named as there is absolutely No friction going down. Slightly sour, slightly sweet, very easy to drink.

The first one I had was clearly stored incorrectly. This one wasn’t. Really good. Round, mild, fruity. Peach. Does not read like 8%

Good Morning, Vietnam Lavard Kjaer
Smells more like porter than stout. Tastes of Coffee ofcourse, but also star anise.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) Lavard Kjaer
Barrel aging. Chocolate. Brown sugar. Coffee and vanilla. Very very good. Moersleutel levels of flavour combinations. Love it!

Single Estate Vintage Ale 2023 Lavard Kjaer
A refined version of the limfjords whiskey porter. Smells like rye bread, tastes like smoked meats. Thick as fuck.

Just the One - Zappa Lavard Kjaer
Sour but not in a dishwaser cloth kind of Way. Intense but not unpleasant.

Deep, complex and vinous, just like its barrel aged counterpart. Plum wine, smoke, leather. Well made for sure!

Smells sweet of something I can’t quite put my finger on. Well made but mostly tastes bitter, and the sweetness is not to be found in the taste.

The intensity and character of a moersleutel But with none of the cirkus. Chocolate, coffe and nougat for days bit without much sweetness. A welcome sourness that meshes Well. A touch of vanilla would have been dope!

Well rounded and easy but with character. Does not read as 8%.

Slice of Sunshine Lavard Kjaer
Bitter although a bit watery. Bitterness is nice and well balanced though. Needs something additional to supplement the bitterness.

Bourbon Barrel Aged King Ink (2023) Lavard Kjaer
Tobacco, smoke, chocolate and coffee served in a log cabin. Red Wine. Ryebread. Liquorish. Enough different tastes to describe 5 different beers. Very vineous and complex. So good!

Nice! A welcome Sour bitterness. Smells yeasty in a “burned oatmeal”- kind of way. Pale opaque yellow.

It’s alright for an alcohol free beer. First half - although lacking the savory bitterness - was actually quite convincing! Unfortunately, the Second half turned more sweet and felt less convincing.

Snowbound Vanilla Porter Lavard Kjaer
Expected it to be sweet, but it’s actually pleasantly bitter. Usually, vanilla as a featured ingredient is quite subdued, but in this one it’s allowed to be as present and prominent as the coffee is! Interesting for sure.

Smells like pineapple. Good bitterness but needs more taste. Slightly dusty.

Drank it a bit too warm. It’s good though! Bitter. Malty start, ends on vanilla.

The Christmas Tree Lavard Kjaer
Decent bitterness that is present yet rounded. Fruity. Well made but not inovative.

Liquorish, but in an ouzo-kind of way. Interesting, strong and delicious!

Delicious smell! First Sip seemed yeasty, but it quickly turned quite mild and round. Good bitterness

I’m unsure if it was stored incorrectly because this one tastes off. Like plastic was added. I’ll withhold a rating until I get the chance to try a different can.

One of the mildest beers ive ever had. Good for the percentage but otherwise quite boring. Fresh. Reminds me of sparkling water with citrus, but with a slight twist.

Realy Nice! Very bitter but in a well rounded way that I enjoy! Dry and surprisingly clear.

Man this goes down smooth! Green tea and a pleasantly rounded bitterness!

Pretty good! Lovely color. Smells like a cream based tropical fruit desert! Much less sweet taste than I expected although sweetness is still present and nicely balanced with the bitterness. Super drinkable!

Very pleasant and easy to drink. Good taste for 4,7%. Slightly piney

Im missing some more ‘KAPOW’, but other than that it’s lovely! Subtle Boozyness but in the back of the mouth. Underplayed but pleasant bitterness that dissipates quickly.
