Iris

Bitter and sour. And not much else going. It’s not unpleasant Not sure if I like this or not. It’s just 🤷🏻‍♂️

Zwanze 2019

Has a smoky tone, for sure. Not a huge fan of smoked beer, but it’s subtle enough to be drinkable.

Kriek 100% Lambic 2024

Tart, really dry. Doesn’t taste that fruity, but it’s rich, almost gravy sauce of some sort.

Rosé de Gambrinus

Still one of my all time favourite beers. Raspberries. Like drinking a thin jam. A touch of sour goodness. Yes.

Gueuze 100% Lambic Bio

Sour. Lambic. Tart. Imagining a world where this was my everyday beer and what a utopia that’d be.

Zwanze 2024 - MMXXIV

Salty, sour, almost oyster creaminess. Super dry, it just vanishes with a puff of the ocean. Definitely has that lambic tone to it too. Feeling very privileged to be able to drink all the beer today.

Rosé de Gambrinus

One of the few perfect beers. Sour, lip smackingly so. Refreshing. Thick and jammy sweet. Berries. I wish I could buy these by the dozen, but they’re so rare and expensive.

Gueuze 100% Lambic Bio

A giant sour punch, packed with stone fruit and Granny Smith apples. Truly excellent. Expensive but so worth it. Opened and drank to celebrate closing my Twitter account. That was a wild 15 years.
