First sip had a nice mix of chocolate and sweetness of the barrel being covered by the cherries. Over time I'm just getting more of that barrel aged sweetness but there are still notes of that roasty/chocolate... Cherry takes over

Prefer the previous year but this still has a ton of that coffee/chocolate bitterness over the base KBS

Velvet Rush Fujimoto

Tons of chocolate. Nose is milk chocolatey, but taste is overwhelming chocolate. There may be a touch of vanilla or something to keep it from being bitter

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa (2021) Fujimoto

This is very rich/sweet from the vanilla and bourbon barrel. The cinnamon is present on the nose but the taste goes towards the sweetness and halts at the cocoa

Breakfast Stout Fujimoto

Solid stout that hits the right spots. Easy to drink, decently "coffee" based, no extreme mouth feel (i.e not super thin or thick). Basically seems like what most stouts should aim to be

Big Luscious (2020) Fujimoto

The raspberry coming across real strong with that true "luscious" feel. I think by the end this may be a little overwhelming though

Underground Mountain Brown Fujimoto

Has that barrel flavor going on to add sweetness, and some nice chocolate malty flavor going on. The brown ale makes it feel more "thin" while still retaining a lot of flavor

I prefer the espresso, but still a solid base
