Big barleywine with high ABV but soooo smooth that I cannot taste any alcohol! No caramel, but rather fruity sweetness, with a wheat malt note and herbal notes.

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa (2021) Burger
Prominent cocoa and cinnamon notes in the aroma, tinged with vanilla. Taste wise, similar when cold, but becomes more boozy and a little rougher as it warms

Well made kolsch, crisp and balanced, without too much carbonation. A subtle mix of flavours, fruit, caramel and malty sweetness.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2020) Burger
Liked this better than previous vintages. Raw chocolate and espresso coffee, without much, if any, vanilla to smooth out the edges. A little booziness, plus mild bourbon and dried dark fruits.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020) Burger
Flavours of fudge coffee and chocolates, thick and raw without any vanilla to smoother it. Barrel notes are faint, if any. When cold, feels a little watery, but body thickens and smoothens when warmed.

Prominent maple syrup and vanilla, stops just a little short of being cloyingly sweet. Barrel notes not too noticeable, apart from a little booziness. Nutty porter notes are not present though.

Awesome! Dark, rich chocolates, with sweetish yet lightly tart raspberries. Smooth, ABV well hidden under all that velvety mouthfeel.

There's an odd metallic or herbal taste underneath the fruitiness and citrus. Not sure what it is, but could be the peach and melon flavours gone wrong interacting with the malts.

Underground Mountain Brown Burger
Deep espresso coffee aroma and taste, with some dried figs and prunes and bourbon booziness as it warms. Less body than expected, feels a little lightweight because of that.

Burst of tropical and citrus fruits, with pineapple being the most prominent. No bitter amidst the juice, but a little hint of dank to the end.

Obviously off season already, but this is still a massive taste bomb of dried dark fruits, think figs, prunes and raisins, caramel, booze, rich malts, licorice and everything Christmas is made out of.

Bottled in Sep 2019, so a bit more than a year old. Smoother with age, and the double chocolates are popping now, over the muted coffee, and the booziness has been dialled way down.

2017 vintage. Tastes like a ton of sweet raspberries, with only a faint hint of lambic sour. Delish!
