KBS Spicy Chocolate (2023) Ploeckelman

This is a tough one to rate. The flavors are all very good, but none of them really stand out above the others. The chocolate is dark. The spice is less than expected for being called “spicy”, but still present. I wanted more, but I’m not unhappy.

All Day Grapefruit Ploeckelman

Took a chance on the grapefruit. Thankfully it wasn’t exactly like a grapefruit, cuz that would’ve sucked. It’s a good hazy with a solid grapefruit tinge, but not the grapefruit bitterness.

Snowbound Vanilla Porter Ploeckelman

First since slaps you in the face with vanilla. Second sip, not as much. By the third sip there is only a hint. Then a pretty good porter with a bitter-ish finish shines though. I think I prefer their regular porter, but this ain’t bad.

Backwoods Bastard Ploeckelman

Oooh baby! I thought the Dirty Bastard was good. I’ve been missing out. The only reason it doesn’t get a 5 is it’s too heavy. I’m not done enjoying it after one.

Breakfast Stout Ploeckelman

No doubt about the coffee, and that’s what makes it awesome. Definitely going high on the list!
