I think age is starting to get to it as the flavors aren't as bold as the last couple of years. The maple isn't very noticeable anymore. Still an excellent beer however.

I don't get as much from this beer as i did the first time I had it. The chocolate and maple are not as strong anymore, or I have had so many better beers now. Edit: Has a bolder chocolate at the bottom.

Has a much stronger french toast flavor this time. This go around I am getting the layers of bread, cinnamon, and maple.

French Toast Bastard Noorman

Very reminiscent of a barleywine in flavor balance. The alcohol is very noticeable, doesn't burn, but it is clearly there. The maple is stron on the nose and front end but quickly fades away.

Rübæus Noorman

Much smoother on nitro than from a can. Almost two different beers. The nitro style gives it a creamy mouth feel with a vanilla undertone.

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa (2021) Noorman

After sitting in my fridge for the last year it still has a smooth flavor. Cinnamon and dark chocolate coat the mouth. Does not leave a lingering taste. It is a good beer, but others from the KBS series are worth more of a revisit first.

KBS Espresso Noorman

Has as strong of a coffee taste as a mocha. Sweet to bitter ratio similar to a Hershey's dark chocolate bar. Mouthfeel is thin and not pallet coating but leaves a lingering coffee aftertaste.

Frootwood (2022) Noorman

A lot of layers to the flavor. Flavor and sent brings back memories of cherry fritters. Sweet like candy, notes of maple but on the back end, tart cherries, as that je ne sais quoi that comes from barrel aging.

Solid Gold Noorman

A nice solid lager. Doesn't try to be more than it is and that makes it nice. Very carbonated.

Rich chocolate flavor with coffee. Maple syrup gives a nice sweetness that isn't over powering or make me feel like I'll get cavities. Barrel aged gives it a mild oak flavor.

Maibock Noorman

Nice golden color. Nose is a paper bag of hops. Malty and smooth the hops are more nasal. Has a average thickness but the flavor coats the mouth.

All Day Vacay Noorman

I nice summer beer. Smooth mouth feel, it doesn't linger or have any aftertastes. Has a nice citrus flavor on a wheaty cearel base.

Velvet Rush Noorman

Has the complex flavor of an aged stout, however it is much more refreshing as the brown ale base is sweet and high in carbonation.

Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter Noorman

Mildly barrel aged, in a good way, the bourbon doesn't take away from the beer. Has a very bread like taste and smell. Orange peel, cherries, and vanilla. I wish I had more than one bottle of this one.

Nemesis (2021) Noorman

The bitterness of the hops is rivalled by the sweetness of the beer as well. Has a dark color but a light taste. Very IPA like but with more malt.

Nice melony IPA. Little watery on the backside and on the pallet.

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa (2021) Noorman

This KBS is an excellent beer, however I have had better from the KBS series. That said there is a nice balance of the chocolate to other flavors, cinnamon and vanilla, it doesn't over power and steal the show.

Very, very hoppy. Probably the most aggressively hopped beer I have had. The gold to amber color is very deep and visible in the foam.

Más Agave (2019) Noorman

It is like a margarita in a bottle. The addition of agave in the brewing gives it more than just lime, but also has a distinct tequila taste.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) Noorman

This is the last bottle of CBS that I know of, at least in Florida. The smoothness and layers of of this beer will be missed. Maple syrup aged in bourbon barrels is unique, age your beer in those barrels and you get more layer than an ogre.

90 Minute Imperial IPA Noorman

Nothing overly special. Just a high quality malty and hoppy IPA. Safe and reliable beer choice.

There are so many layers to this beer, but each layer has its note to sing. Having had plenty of Mackinac Island Fudge I can say that it tastes just like it.
