Surprised this bad boy has held up this long. Spices are muted a bit, but that's understandable. Going to bang out a Belgian pumpkin beer this weekend or next, so getting in the proper mood. Rating to the average. PLUS Sami has birfday @ Dogfish!

Excellent. Had this right after the bourbon county stout and would take this one over the BC version. Flavors all across the spectrum of roast, coffee, chocolate, and bourbon.

4 Giants Tropical Treasure Cahill
Founder's hazy game seems like it'll be a perennial work in progress. Pretty flat, missing out on co2's hop flavor delivery ability. Lots of orange on the nose, still. And plenty on the palate, albeit closer to orange rind than juice.

Wake Up World Wide Stout Cahill
Extreme Beer Box 2022. Subtle heat from the high ABV. Loads of coffee rise above roast and malt. Every bit as delicious as the Eagles annihilating the Niners! Lock it down!!!!

Lots of roast and lots of bitterness. Actually, a little more bitterness than I'd prefer. The roast is at right at the point where any more would be oppressive. Idk why I expected something a little more mellow, but it is in no way mellow.

Squinting sharp tartness. Floral and fruity raspberry nose and taste. It's hard for Mikkeller to make a bad beer. Delicious.

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa Cahill
Dunno why I'm getting coconut here... maybe some brain malfunctioning going on. Tons of cinnamon and vanilla. Sticky sweet malt syrup carrying the vanilla thru. Gerdamn delicious.

Ragged on the excess of cinnamon on first checkin of this, but not getting the same levels this time. Only thing I can note is I had a fruity hazy NE first. Enjoying lots of chocolatey, coffee goodness today, tho.

Utopias Barrel-Aged World Wide Stout (2020) Cahill
Can't tell which year this is. Guessed. All the sultry smells are here. Absolutely beautiful combo - throat warming but not boozy; tobacco, dark fruit, burnt caramel; smooooth bourbon & vanilla; gentle roast. Props & ❤ to the OG, DFH. #ExtremeBeerBox
