Sweet, thin, chocolate, blueberry, little barrel. Solid. Still prefer regular KBS.

Punkin Ale (2023)

Not really getting pumpkin from this. More of a orange fruity/citrus vibe. Not bad tasting but as a pumpkin beer it’s a no go.

KBS

Coffee/chocolate notes are great. If barrel was a little heavier and mouthfeel was thicker this would be dynamite. Hard to beat an old classic.

Beer Geek Cocoa Shake

Lots of cocoa and bitter coffee notes. Solid sipper.

Bottle Shop Series Belgian Twist

Nice sweetness with some Belgian characteristic’s. Solid beer but for the style falls a little short. Definitely drink again. High 3.5 - 3.75

KBS Hazelnut

Mostly coffee and some hazelnut. Not really getting any barrel flavor. Not a big fan of most KBS variants. Founders needs to step the KBS game up.

Panther Cub (2021)

Malty, roasted coffee on the nose.Mouthfeel leans a little thin.Maple and barrel is subtle on the palate.Can definitely pick up on the vanilla.Mostly getting a roasted malty note and vanilla with a slightly bitter aftertaste.Not bad for a Porter.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020)

Smell is delicious.Taste is fudge, coffee and some barrel with a decent mouthfeel.One of the better KBS variants I’ve had.Only thing I didn’t like is suddenly noticing in fine print that it’s artificially flavored.I’ll let it slide.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS)

Nice blend of coffee and sweetness. Slightly boozy but in a good way.Solid breakfast stout to start the Labor Day morning. 4.0 - 4.25
