This beer is already a 5 for me, and adding nitro definitely didn’t hurt it at all. So smooth and packed with flavor. Bursting with coffee and chocolate, with plenty of % to back it up.

Old school, 3 years old (minus 4 days), black Barleywine, aka imperial BIPA…. Yes, it’s still holding up great oddly enough! pick these up if you see em, I will!

3yrs old and still pretty damn good. A solid end to a hang session with Matt F.

I really enjoyed this. Not always my favorite but not overloaded with coffee.

Alcohol and coffee up front…barrel notes mellowed

Dig. You get a touch of “pepper” from aged coffee, but it kinda settles into tobacco and i dig.

Basically an American barleywine. Very well done with subtle dark fruit notes mingling with the hop profile. Lovely.

I think aging this beer for 4 years is too long, there is some interesting malt flavor and fruit flavor. But there was a lot off sediment in the bottom of the bottle and an overwhelming acetic flavor.

Amazing dessert beer. Everything you’d expect in an barrel aged stout.

Thankfully I like hazelnut, but if you don't, I'd skip it. Very smooth, would make a nice nitro too. Not bitter on the after taste

The aging really removed the sticky sweetness, but oh, so smooth
